Aussenposten Regenbogen: Cookie...RIP

Angefahren von einem Fahrzeug in der Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag, wahrscheinlich als er gerade die Straße überqueren wollte um heimzulaufen...Sonntag morgen fanden wir, Molly und ich, ihn tot an einer Stelle, in deren Nähe er sich oft aufgehalten hatte, anderthalb Meter von der Unfallstelle entfernt. Offenbar hatte ihn jemand von der Straße weggetragen, er sah im ersten Moment aus, als ob er schlief...Während ich noch darauf wartete, dass er aufstehen und sich strecken würde, um uns dann freudig zu begrüßen, wusste Molly schon, dass er tot war, sie war kaum zu beruhigen, zog und bellte ohne Unterlass...Cookie war der kleine Bruder von Molly und Laika, sie hatten auch denselben Vater. -

In the night from Saturday to Sunday Cookie was deadly hit by by a vehicle, probably when he was just on his way back home...We found him Sunday morning, close to a place where he often stayed, not even 2 meters away from where the accident had happened. Obviously someone had moved him from the street. He looked as if he was sleeping...While I was still waiting for him to get up, stretch himself to come over to greet us as usual with excitement, Molly already knew that he was dead, she was barely to calm, pulling and barking all the time...Cookie was Molly and Laika's little brother, they all had the same father too.

Auf diesem Bild vom 03.November ist er so dünn, weil er sich gerade von einer Infektion durch eine Bisswunde erholt, 5 Tage hatte er kaum gegessen und war ganz schwach gewesen. Nichtsdestotrotz sieht er hier so aus, als könne er es mit seiner Mutter Laila aufnehmen...-

Just recovering from an infection, Cookie was very thin in the beginning of November, he hadn't eaten for 5 days and was very weak. Nevertheless, here he gave the impression as if he could even challenge his mom Laila...

Cookie as little puppy with naked tail-tip ...and with the same pretty ears like Molly...

Wir werden dieses kleine verspielte Kerlchen mit fast immer großem Hunger nie vergessen...
We won't forget this little one, always so playful, always so hungry...

RIP, Cookie...you will be missed and always remembered...

Außenposten Regenbogen.....News from behind the Rainbow Bridge

While still being over the moon due to the news about Hope and Lily, there are also news coming from our other Outpost, the one behind the Rainbow Bridge...Sad news though, especially for those being left behind, but what do we know...maybe they are all watching us, clapping their paws....or maybe it was just the trick of a genius ( I don't say names now), that for a certain moment no places on the bridge were available so that Hope could be rescued...However, Max and Minette, two more cats of the original "Wilde 13 ", owners of our good friend Barbara, won't be watching Knut on the PC like they did before, Max left this place already on May 4, too ill to continue occupying Barbara's place at the PC...which is said to have had a significant impact on his way experiencing quality of life during his last 3 years...

As to beauty Minette, she left this world just a few days ago on May 24, after a dental operation she did not wake up anymore...

Barbara must be a happy woman having had the company of such beautiful and interesting creatures who shared her life.

Max and Minette - we wish you farewell on your last voyage ....! You will be in good company, watch out for that special bearded guy surrounded by bears and wolves and...Say hello to our old friends Simba and Herr Nicholson...! More friends are going to join you all, but to that we will come later...!

Aussenposten Regenbogen

Dieses Video kam gerade von Bauz, zur Erinnerung an Simba und ihren Freund Kater Nicholson. 9 Wochen ist Simba nun dort und es ist gut zu wissen, dass es dort auch einen Kater Nicholson gibt, der über sie wacht...Und wo wir gerade beim Aussenposten Regenbogen sind, auch diese beiden haben sicherlich schon Bekanntschaft geschlossen... "Nackthühner sind Knuts Spezialität, meine waren eher Nacktgänse...!"
Titus (seit 04.12.2007 im Regenbogenland) "Keine Angst ihr Fische, ich bin's doch bloß, Filou, Knut ist in Bärlin und hat außerdem gerade anderes zu tun als Karpfen zu jagen..." (Filou, seit dem 14.11.2008 im Regenbogenland)

After a full moon night.... -

The first one at about 6.45...

The second one at about 8.30...and there were even more....

So I decided to wear again for the second day this T-shirt, sure in addition to the more beary "Dienstuniform"...
