Knut's 39 months birthday ....& some precious gifts from Japan and Taiwan

Hi Knut, it's us, Ikoru and Kiroru, from time to time you can find us in your outpost, we thought you would like to see us again, as we have grown tremendously and we are nearly 15 months old.We don't have a Gianna to cuddle with and so we still cuddle with each other which is fine for us...Wir haben dir auch etwas zu deinem 39 Monatsgeburtstag mitgebracht.

We have brought you something for your 39months birthday. Maybe you know already that before we were born, people from our country had been really nuts about you. Some even managed to visit you in Bearlin, and they took German lessons before. We think that this German crash course you will like...Na, ist das nicht cool?- Cool, isn't it?

But it gets even better. Friends from Taiwan enacted your story...See yourself!

"Funny and loving story to tell the story of Knut the polar bear who is a star in Berlin zoo from 2007-2009. It leaves the question 'Where is Knut's home?' This is a presentation of the animal group in a Waldorf Education workshop, Taiwan on 7.17.2009. "

This surprising video about Knut's life from Taiwan was found by Betsy who I want to thank for making me aware of it!!!

Concerning the German Crash course, this is a link I found somewhen somehow while I was doing some research on Japanese sites and since then it has been in my Japan folder although the course actually is not from Japan...

What touches me most when coming across such little jewels like these, is the fact that so many people from other countries got infected with Knut and that it did not just stop when he got bigger...For this I am really grateful.

And as to the question about where is Knut's home..., this is still a burning topic considering the latest news that he will have to share the enclosure with his "aunties" Nancy and Katjuscha after Gianna has been returned to Munich...

Liebe Birgit,

wunderbar, was Du so alles an Geschichten und Fakten ausgräbst (in diesem Fall offenbar "with a little help of Betsy" - Thanks to you as well).
