OK, und das bin ich, Lars. Heute ist der 33 Monatsgeburtstag meines Sohns Knut, also da muss es schon etwas besonderes sein, nicht einfach nur ein Kuchen..., ich dachte ein Blick auf Fotos aus der Zeit, wo er noch in Toscas Bauch war, könnte ihm gefallen, gerade jetzt, wo wieder eine Familienerweiterung ins Haus steht!!! -OK, and that's me, Lars, today is my son's 33 months birthday, so something special is needed ..., not just a cake...So let him see some special family pics from the time he was still in Tosca's stomach, maybe just the right thing so shortly before the family gets bigger again !!!

Sommer 2006, erinnern Sie sich???-Summer 2006, remember???
Ein spezieller "Eisvogel" war damals mein Pate, etwas moderner ausgedrückt, könnte man auch sagen, ich wurde gesponsort...Stellen Sie sich vor, am 21.Juli, als es wirklich unaushaltbar heiß war, kamen sie mit 10 t Eis hier an! Einfach so, und in allen Formen, Eisblöcke, Scherbeneis, riesige Eiswürfel, manche auch rund...-A special "Eisvogel" was my godmother then, if you prefer modern talk, just say I was sponsored...Imagine, on 21 July, when it was really unbearable hot, they came with 10 t of ice ! Just like that...In all forms, blocks, crushed ice, giant ice cubes, some even round...
Es war so viel, dass neben der Eisvogel-Crew und den Mitarbeitern vom Zoo, 20 Freiwillige plus deren Handschuhe mit anfassen mussten (hinterher haben sie alle auch eine Badewanne voll Eis bekommen!) Einfach cool!!!-It was so much that beside her and the zoo's staff 20 volunteers had to give a little gloved hand (note: they were renumerated for their efforts then with a private load of ice for their bath tubs ...) It was just cool!!!
Es war eine millionenmal besser als ein Geburtstag (nichts gegen Geburtstage). Und wie man sehen kann, bin ich ein großzügiger Bär, mein Harem war begeistert...Und das allerbeste...-It was a million times better than a birthday (nothing against birthdays). And you see I am a generous bear, my harem was thrilled as they benefitted too...And best of it....
Wir hatten eine Bar ganz für uns alleine!!! Sehen Sie??? Eine echte Eisbärenbar mit Eiskristallbechern gefüllt mit Nüssen, Früchten und Gemüse...-We had a bar just for the four of us !!! See??? A real polar bear bar with ice crystal cups filled with nuts, fruits and vegetables...
Ich kann es selbst heute noch nicht richtig fassen...-Even today I still can't believe it...
Es war einer unserer besten Tage überhaupt...Und es ist das, was ich mit meinem Sohn heute teilen will: Selbst der heißeste Tag kann ein cooler Tag sein! Und dass wir Bären feiern können..., manchmal hängt es bloß an Menschen mit den richtigen Ideen im richtigen Moment...- und dafür ein verspätetes Danke an "Eisvogel" und all die anderen hilfreichen 'Vögel' , die uns helfen auf stilvolle Art und Weise zu genießen, so wie es uns angemessen ist...-It was one of our best days ever...And this I wanted to share with my son today: Even the hottest day can be a cool day! And bears know how to celebrate - sometimes it depends only of people who have the right idea in the right moment... - so a belated Thank You to "Eisvogel" and all the other helpful 'birds' who allow us to enjoy stylefully as it is convenient for us....
Oh, Knut, I nearly forgot...Enjoy your 33 Months-Birthday...!!!
