Eisbären müssen unglaubliche Biertrinker sein, denn es gibt Biersorten mit ihnen drauf wie Sand am Meer, sogar in Ländern, wo man sie am wenigsten erwartet wie Venezuela zum Beispiel. Oft heißen sie auch gleich White Bear Bear oder Polar Bear Beer. -

Polar bears must be incredible beer drinkers as one can find lots of beer brands with their pictures on it even in countries where you wouldn't at least expect them like in Venezuela. Often they go just by their name, White Bear Bear or Polar Bear Beer.

Ausgetrunkene Dosen findet man selbst auf tropischen Inseln im Indischen Ozean, doch Agee oder ein anderes weißbefelltes, ggf. angetrunkenes Mitglied ihrer Verwandschaft konnte ich beim besten Willen noch nicht in La Réunion ausfindig machen...))-

Finished cans can be found even on tropical islands in the Indian Ocean, but I was not able to track down neither Agee nor another white-furred and possibly slightly drunk member of her kinship on Reunion Island ...))

Agee has done over the years not only car ads, she also did beer commercials. It is said that the shots connected to this genre were much to her liking allowing her to show her vast talent.

Aber es gibt auch andere. Frühere Werbefilme für die kanadischen Biersorten Molson, Mountain Dew, Coors und Stroh's mit Agee habe ich bislang im Netz nicht finden können, hier aber wenigstens  der alte Heineken Spot.-

Heute ist Sonntag und deshalb beschäftigen wir uns heute mal mit Bootsausflügen. Nicht nur in Alaska gibt es Grizzly Bären, die wie oben Lust auf eine Bootspartie haben. Auch Sergey Gorshkow traf einen in Russland, doch es sieht ganz danach aus, als ob er seinen Ausflug verschieben musste.-

Today is Sunday and what better thing to do than a boat ride? Not only in Alaska there are grizzly bears with a liking for outings like this. Sergey Gorshkow met one too in Kurile Lake in Russia, but it looks as if this one had to postpone his boat trip... .

This fishing camp is brown bear territory and and dogs live there in the summer to guard territory.Bears like to investigate the boats. They used to be made from rubber but that was changed after bears would pop them with their razor sharp claws. The bears are the boss here and there is constant conflict with the guard dogs.

Russia has the largest brown bear population in the world, and the grizzly is one of the most widespread, well-known and popular animals in the country. With more than 100,000 brown bears in existence, Russia has as many brown bears as the rest of the other countries combined. Five subspecies of brown bear are found throughout Russia, with the European Region north-west of Russia, Kamchatka peninsula and the coastal regions of the Pacific having the highest density of these animals.

The Grizzly bear is not a vicious animal and prefers in the main to stay out of the way of humans, but when an attack occurs it can be lethal, as bears are so huge and  their claws so sharp.
While many dogs will instinctively harass, or at least annoy, grizzly bears they come across, the size of this one might have put off many. But it looks as though these two have no fear at all.

Sehr geehrter Herr Knut,

Bitte nehmen Sie zu Kenntnis, dass wenn die Erderwärmung weiter so fortschreitet, - und nun wissen wir ja, wem wir sie zu verdanken haben-, dass eine kontinuierliche Berichterstattung im königlichen Außenposten nicht möglich ist. Während sich die Herren Eisbären fragwürdigen Vergnügungen hingeben, schwitzen wir derart, dass mit den abfließenden Schweißperlen ganze Seen gefüllt werden könnten, wie Sie sicher wissen, gerade dort wo es um Inseln geht, die nur knapp über dem Meeresspiegel liegen, eine große Gefahr. Hiermit beantrage ich auf weiteres zum Schutze unserer Insel gegen Überschwemmung Hitzefrei!

While the gentlemen Polar Bears indulge in questionable activities, we are sweating so much that new ponds could be filled alone with our downflooding sweat perls. An extremely dangerous thing for islands being located just a tiny bit above sea level, as you certainly know.
