Happy Birthday hieß es schon am 5. November für Aurora in Rochester Seneca, ihr wisst schon, die die mit Zero zusammenlebt...Sie ist 21 geworden und das wurde im Zoo gefeiert...-Aurora, you know, the one with Zero in Rochester, turned 21 on November 5...So there was a party at the zoo...
Die Geburtstagsbärin...- the birthday bear...
Und ihr sich doch recht bescheiden ausnehmender Geburtstagskuchen...-And her modest birthday cake....
Auf den Fotos fand ich zwar keinen Zero, dafür aber diese zwei, die schon Tage vor Aurora's Geburtstag mit ihren Geburtstagshütchen rumgerannt waren, immer auf eine Gelegenheit wartend, um eigentlich auch einem Gerhard aus Düren zu gratulieren....In the photos I didn't find Zero, but instead these two guys who had already been seeing several days before Aurora's birthday running around with their birthday hats, always waiting for an occasion to wish also a Gerhard from Düren all the best for his new year.
Wir fragten uns, ob er wohl gerne mit Modelleisenbahnen spielt....und ob es wahr ist, dass im Berliner Zoo die Eisbären Pressekonferenzen abhalten...-We asked ourselves if he might like to play with trains...and if it is true that in Berlin the polar bears schedule press conferences...
Die Geburtstagshütchen behielten die beiden übrigens auch noch weiter auf...Denn auch Ulli J's Geburtstag am 15. November stand in ihrem Geburtstagskalender...Sie wollten ihr nämlich sagen, wie sehr sie ihren Blog über die Zoos in Europa mögen, für den sie sogar gelernt hatten mit google translate umzugehen... -
The birthday hats stayed on their heads even until now...as another birthday was marked in their calendar...The one of Ulli J, whose blog with all the zoo stories from Europe they really adore and for which they had even learnt how to use google translate...
Ulli's blog about the numerous zoos she visited with her husband Gerhard...Absolutely worthwhile to read although it's in German....
Dies findet übrigens Knut auch , zumindest wenn er nicht gerade damit beschäftigt ist, zu lernen, wie man einen Regenschirm aufspannt...-Knut too likes the zoo blog of Ulli J , at least when he is not occupied with learning how to open an umbrella properly...
Dann bleibt dem Außenposten also nur noch, sich anzuschließen und Aurora , Gerhard und Ulli J nachträglich alles Gute zu wünschen...-
