..."A gift from the producer of the new film on German polar bear Knut"...
Packed with fruits and vegetables....Male polar bear Yukio adopted a practical approach to the task - he lifted up the ice block close to his face and took a mouthful...With temperatures reaching over 30 degrees Celsius by midday, the edibles also provided much-needed sustenance against the summer heat. His female counterpart, Reiko, was less hands on. She stooped her head instead and took a bite. After she had successfully accessed the fruit and vegetables, she cooled off from the summer heat by diving into the water....
"The fruit and vegetables were presented to the Japanese zoo as a gift from the producer of a new German polar bear film based on the country's most popular mammal - and a Mail Online favourite, Knut."For all who wonder now if there is again a new movie featuring me...Remember the day in June? The day I had so much fun with that Japanese camera team?? They told me that my movie would start in Japan in July, so what...? In exchange for that information I showed them how to stay fit with a balanced diet in green, I am pretty sure that all polar bears now in Japan are fed vegetarian style, certainly it will become even a fad among polar bears...- The last word I have learned for my friend Steve out there, he knows why- ...))Also to thank him for that wonderful photo he sent me of Reiko, I think it's her...Isn't she gorgeous? Don't get it wrong, she could be my grand-ma as she will turn 26 in December...but with the Japanese polar bears you can never be too sure, maybe it's already another Reiko...?

Interesting and fun story!
Hello Reiko and Yukio!
It's nice to meet you.
I know Tokyo it's where Captain Seki-San comes from, it is on the island of Honshu.
I want to say 'Kon nitiwa" to you and "sayonara".
The Japanese word for polar bear is'Hokkyoku Guma" or ' Shiro kuma'.
Which one do you like better?
Otabe Nasai
