Etwa kein Adventskalender...??? No surprises yet...?

Unser Freund David Booth war dieses Jahr früher als früh, als er mir seinen diesjährigen Erinnerungscartoon zur Weihnachtszeit schon am 21.11. aus Alaska schickte, man muss sich das einfach mal vorstellen, schon vor Thanksgiving, was prompt dazu führte, dass ich dieses Jahr Thanksgiving komplett verschwitzt habe...-

Our friend from Alaska David Booth was early when he sent me his seasonal cartoon already on 21 November, imagine even way before Thanksgiving... which in consequence we promptly missed completely...

Mir rutschte wirklich ein Stein vom Herzen, als ich dann doch noch ein paar überlebende Truthähne auf facebook fand, Marga hat sie irgendwie gesichtet und das hat mich doch sehr froh gestimmt...-

You can't believe how thrilled I was when at least I found some few survivors on facebook, Marga has somehow spotted these creative turkeys and I assure you it was relieving...-

Und dann fand ich ihn. Schauen Sie nur, wie er mich ansieht...!! Himmel auch, er hat Recht, nun ist schon der 2. Dezember und immer noch kein Türchen weit und breit zu öffnen, denkt er, aber bei uns läuft das irgendwie diesmal ganz anders...

And then I found him. See, how he looks at me...?!! Jeez, he is absolutely right, already December 2 but still no surprises in sight.
At least that's what he thinks, but this time we do it differently...
