15.November - Happy Birthday Surprises....

Das bin ich,Tundra, aus Indianapolis, ich habe heute Geburtstag, ich werde schon 23 . Hier bin ich mit einem Kuchen , der nicht von diesem Jahr ist...Hat mir aber ausgezeichnet geschmeckt...-

This is me, Tundra, from Indy Zoo in Indianapolis. It's my birthday today, already my 23rd birthday, can you believe it? Here with a cake, which is not from this year but which was excellent... Möchtet ihr den Kuchen von diesem Jahr sehen???
Would you like to see the birthday cake of this year????Er ist ein bisschen klein und er kam zu früh, schon am 9. November, nun ja , ich hatte nichts dagegen, Laura, die sich um mich kümmert, hat ihn gemacht...Finden Sie nicht, dass er ein bisschen größer hätte sein können?

" Immer dieser verfressene Troll", denkt sich Umca, der heute 11 wird. Er ist der Vater von Tom und Bill und Coras Mann in Brünn. Ob er eine Torte bekommt, weiß er nicht, er freut sich vielmehr über seinen Ruf...

"Young, amazing, very charismatic, clever and lazy....", his reputation as celebrity bear in the Czech Republic makes Umca from Brno even forget all about birthday cakes, pretending to be less greedy than Troll...By the way, Umca turns 11 today...In Deutschland kennt man vor allen Dingen seine Hinterbeine...Im Februar war er nur per Narkose zu bewegen, Lara und Gelsenkirchen zu verlassen um seinem Sohn Bill Platz zu machen...-

By the way, in Germany his hindlegs are famous too. In February he had to be anaesthetised to make him leave Lara and Gelsenkirchen while his son Bill was already queuing in another transportation crate...Umca:"Aber nun kommt eine Überraschung....Die ist für alle, die heute auch noch Geburtstag haben, Bären, Menschen...einerlei...wie zum Beispiel UlliJ, die hat nämlich auch Geburtstag heute..."-

Umca:"But now you are all in for a surprise...A surprise for all who celebrate today an anniversary, no matter if bear or human ..., for example UlliJ, it's her birthday too..."
" Na endlich, ich dachte wir würden nie mehr dran kommen. Nein, ich bin nicht UlliJ. Und ob ich auch Geburtstag habe? Um ehrlich zu sein , nein, aber ich kenne auch noch jemand, die heute Geburtstag hat...Aber erstmal möchte ich mich vorstellen, ich bin Arctic, mein Geburtstag ist erst am 9.Dezember, dann werde ich 8, ich bin gebürtiger Schwede und lebe seit 1993 in Japan, zusammen mit meiner Frau, die auch Geburtstag heute hat...Und das ist nämlich meine Überraschung...."-

Ich lebe immer noch in der Präfektur von Wakayama in einer Einrichtung, die Adventure World heißt...Ich wurde vor genau 8 Jahren in Edinburgh geboren, und wie Arctic kam ich 1993 hierher. Mehr über unser Leben und das Gelände hier etwas später, denn um ehrlich zu sein, fühle ich mich gerade überwältigt und muss erstmal ein wenig allein sein.Und dann muss ich auch noch Mutti irgendwie die Nachricht in die Highlands überbringen...Sie denkt ja wahrscheinlich, dass ich tot bin..."

The little cutie will be handraised but she is doing fine so far...!"Auch ich bin etwas überwältigt, seit ich weiß, dass Ohoto lebt und sie Mercedes zur Oma gemacht hat...Ich wünsche deshalb heute allen Geburtatgskindern alles Gute, allen voran UlliJ, die mir im Februar den Link geschickt hat, dass Mercedes umziehen würde, von da an ging es auch immer um die Suche von Ohoto....Es war ein langer Weg, ein Kreis, der sich schließt, mit Neuem, das beginnt... ...-

Me too, I am overwhelmed by these news of Ohoto still living and having made Mercedes a grand-ma...So just all the best to all who have a reason to celebrate today, especially UlliJ, whose e-mail in February about Mercedes announced relocation left me also digging ever since about Ohoto's whereabouts...It was a long way, a closing circle and new beginnings...
