Elefanten....geschminkt, schwul und in Festtagslaune...

"Guten Morgen", sagt die Stimme Amerikas, Klein Barack aus Florida und geboren am Tag der Vereidigung eines Präsidenten gleichen Namens...."heute ist Elefantentag"...-

"Good morning", says the Voice of America, Little Barack from Florida, born on the very same same day when a president with the very same name took his office oath, "today it will be the day of elephants here...""Oh, großartig!" meint diese geschminkte Zooschönheit aus Emmen in Holland, die uns vor lauter Begeisterung über ihre artistischen Fähigkeiten vergisst, ihren Namen zu nennen...-

My, that's great!" the beauty from Emmen in Holland with perfect make-up is thrilled but due to her own enthousiasm about her artistic abilities, she forgets telling us her name..."Dafür weiß ich meinen Namen, ich bin die berühmte Ko Raya aus Bärlin, alle fotografieren mich, was feiern wir denn heute, ich bin nämlich noch müde und muss mir sehr genau überlegen, ob ich wirklich aufstehe..."-

Oh, I know my name, does this help? I am the famous Ko Raya from Bearlin, everybody comes to visit me and people take lots of photos...What are we celebrating today? You know, I am still tired, but I might rise for something interesting..."

It looks like a normal birthday party with a cake and pink balloons -- but the birthday boy was an endangered Asian elephant. Pamai celebrated Saturday his 18th year in style at Changsha Zoo, in the capital of Hunan Province. His super-sized cake contained more than 100 kilograms of fodder and 30 kilograms of fruit and vegetables. The celebration was also used to highlight the plight of wild Asian elephants. More than 30 college students came to the party to show their dedication to protect wild elephants...
"Manno, ich will auch...! Nie feiert einer Geburtstag mit mir...!Ich bin Ninio aus Polen und ich werde immer bekannter, mann denkt ich sei schwul...., gray and gay, hört sich zwar nicht schlecht an, aber Torten wären mir lieber...Nun ja, Besuch kriege ich jetzt auch, aber um ganz ehrlich zu sein, auf so ein Foto wie da unten, können Sie lange warten, da wird die Zooleitung und die Politiker schon für sorgen, wir sind ja in Polen...und außerdem bin ich erst 10, da darf man wohl noch mit Jungen spielen und die Mädels nerven..."

I am Ninio from Poland, the headline elephant of the week, they think I am gay, gray and gay- that sounds good but cake would be more fun...OK, at least there are more visitors who want to see me, but don't get me wrong, they will have to wait long before seeing such a photo as below, the zoo and politicians will take care of that, don't forget, we are in Poland...and I am just 10 years old, so what, why shouldn't I play with boys and tease the girls...?"
