Also, ich finde es reicht jetzt langsam mal mit der ganzen Schlaferei..., was denkt Mami Simba sich bloß dabei, langsam könnte der Aussenposten ja mal in die Hufe kommen...-Don't you think that whole sleeping business is getting out of dimension, Mami Simba? Honestly, if you ask me, the Outpost ought to wake up now...at least a bit...
Genau!!! Nochmal legen wir uns nicht hin um zu schlafen...Sonst denken die Leute wohl noch, wir tun das immer...Dabei schlafen wir im Liegen eigentlich nie länger als zwischen 10 Minuten und 2 Stunden ..., naja, die Jüngeren auch etwas mehr...Unser Freund Bernhard hat das übrigens als erster herausgefunden, schon vor 53 Jahren, vorher dachten alle, wir schlafen überhaupt nicht, deshalb gibt es im Internet auch nur so wenige Fotos von uns, ich meine, schlafend...Also ich kenne nur 3 Fotos oder so...-Your say!!! Enough is enough...Imagine, otherwise everyone would get the impression, we do that on a regular basis...In fact, we don't sleep longer than between 10 minutes and 2 hours per day...OK, the younger ones a little longer...By the way, the first one to find out was our friend Bernhard, before 1956 everybody thought us not to be sleeping at all...Maybe because of that , there are only so few pics of us on the Internet, I mean sleeping...
Apropos Bernhard...Der Aussenposten hat den 100jährigen Geburtstag gestern von ihm einfach übergangen, ganz schön unverschämt eigentlich...Also, diese Mami Simba müssen wir uns mal vorknöpfen...So geht das nicht!!!-Apropos Bernhard...The Outpost skipped his 100 birthday yesterday, a bit heavy, don't you think...Probably we have to have a word with this Mami Simba lady...
Also, ich weiß gar nicht, was die alle haben, ist doch nett, noch 'n bissken länger auszuruhen...Um mal ganz ehrlich zu sein, ich warte jetzt nicht auf die versprochenen Erklärungen, wie das mit uns und dem Kinderkriegen läuft...-What are they fussing about, just so nice to have some more rest time...And honestly, who I am to stress her with her promise to elaborate on our way of getting the kids...No hurry needed...
Von mir aus, kein Problem...schlafen wir halt noch ein Weilchen...Fine with me...so, let's nap for another while...

And what the giraffe said is true, I checked on someone who claimed that there had been only 3 photos on the net of sleeping giraffes...He was right and you have seen them all by now in this weeks' postings...
